Ad guru David Hay has been appointed general manager: Central Sales of the Lifestyle division. He takes over from Craig Nicholson on 1 January.
David started his media career in 2001 as an advertising executive at Beeld newspaper. Three years later he joined the then Family Magazines as an account manager on the weekly publications Huisgenoot, YOU and DRUM. In 2007 he was promoted to sales manager on the travel titles (Weg!/go!, Wegsleep and Wegry/Driveout). Two years later he joined Touchline Media as national advertising manager for Men’s Health. In 2009 he did a brief stint away from Media24 before rejoining the company in 2011. Since then he has been employed in various managerial roles. We wish him every success in his new position.
