Finweek journalists acknowledged for their excellence

Two Finweek journalists were recently recognised by the financial industry for their contribution to coverage of financial services and personal finance at the Citadel Words on Money Journalism Awards 2012. Bruce Whitfield was the winner in the Analysis and Opinion category for columns and opinion pieces about the economic meltdown and investment lessons to be learnt from history, while Finweek lifestyle editor Leani Wessels was nominated as newcomer of the year. "It's fantastic to see both experienced journalists like Bruce and up-and-coming talent like Leani being acknowledged for their contributions," Finweek editor Marc Ashton says.
