Huisgenoot song-writing competition – vote for the finalists now!

Huisgenoot's annual Tempo awards where top Afrikaans music artists are honoured, is around the corner.

The winners of the Huisgenoot song-writing competition will also be announced at the gala event. The judges have already chosen the top-10 winners and readers can now vote for their favourite song.

This year's songs will again be performed by some of SA's most popular artists – listen to them on Huisgenoot's website or Facebook page. To vote SMS the word LIED, the number next to the entry you're voting for (no spaces) and your name and surname to 32113. Each SMS costs R1. You can also vote on Facebook – go to www.facebook.com/huisgenoot and follow the instructions. The Tempo awards will be held on 17 July at Emperors Palace in Kempton Park. A limited number of tickets are available from Computicket at R120 each.
