Kuier celebrates Women's Day in style

Kuier exceeded all expectations on Saturday 11 August with its Women's Day celebrations at the GrandWest Market Hall in Cape Town. Tickets for Pienk Plesier were sold out within 15 minutes. A special message from Cape Town mayor Patricia de Lille ensured the event kicked off on the right note. MasterChef SA runner-up Sue-Ann Allen proved why she made it to the finals in this competition when she treated Kuier readers to a cooking demonstration. Well-known American hair expert Dr Reggie and international British hair stylist Michelle Thompson showed off their skills with styles to suit all types of hair. Other celebs on the programme included The Black Ties who had everyone in raptures with their serenading, iconic actress Shaleen Surtie-Richards, former Idols contestant Crushanda Forbes and songbird Karin Kortjé.
