TRUE LOVE's food pages given a contemporary twist

With 15 years' experience in the food and restaurant industries recently appointed TRUE LOVE food editor Mokgadi Itsweng has what it takes to liven up the magazine's food pages. She worked as a chef for Woolworths and was a partner in Lotsha, a restaurant in Rosebank, Johannesburg, specialising in contemporary African cuisine. She was also one of five South African chefs to create and produce the menu for the final gala dinner at the 2010 World Economic Forum.

"I'm determined to drive home the fact that our market is about so much more than pap and chakalaka," Mokgadi says. "TRUE LOVE is all about modern black South African women carving a new identity for themselves. The food features will now reflect this new, changing and growing identity."
