East Griqualand Fever

Reaching an important audience in Southern KwaZulu-Natal is the East Griqualand Fever. Part of Fever Publications, a subsidiary of The Witness Group, 15 000 copies of the free weekly community newspaper are distributed every Thursday. The news and sport is delivered primarily in English and covers a wide variety of community events including school and municipal news. There’s a vibrant ‘letters to the editor’ section and regular columnists. A new distribution strategy has recently been formulated to make sure the paper gets into the hands of our advertisers’ target market in the following areas: Ixopo, Paddock, Harding, Cedarville, Matatiele, Swartberg, Maluti, Mount Fletcher, Underberg, Umzimkhulu, Weza and Izingolweni.

The East Griqualand Fever is known to have the highest number of individually delivered papers in our footprint – more than any other paper in our area. You can also read the latest community news online by visiting our website www.feveronline.co.za.
