Volksblad

Volksblad celebrated its centenary in 2004 and is the oldest Afrikaans daily in the country and the largest in the Free State and Northern Cape. The circulation section's delivery vehicles cover 18 500 km daily, to distribute the newspaper. In the south Volksblad is distributed as far as Hanover, with the furthest point in the Northern Cape being Kakamas. In the Northern Free State readers from as far as Sasolburg and Harrismith in the eastern Freestate enjoy their early morning Volksblad.
