The WeCan24 platform is a hive of activity at the moment. Everything from school sports and the latest romances to feedback on the recent exams and even a step-by-step braai video are on the site. The new platform, launched only three months ago, already boasts 95 articles with 48 awaiting approval. Schools can upload articles, voice notes, photo galleries and videos. This year 299 learners and 201 teachers from 191 schools have already received training.
During October learners will cover two major events. The first is a fashion show by fashion designer Jacques LaGrange in aid of International Homeless Day, the second a career expo in Worcester in association with Cape Town’s Artscape Theatre.
On Friday at 10:00 the winners of the annual school newspaper competition will be announced on WeCan24’s social media. To see find out which school newspaper is the best in South Africa “Like” WeCan24Mobi on Facebook or follow wecan24_network on Twitter.
