Social Impact

Our programme is decentralised and resides with the respective operational divisions, with long-term and formal initiatives in place that are focused on the themes of education and literacy, as well as food security (feeding schemes and community gardens) in underserved communities. The latter is linked to our staff-run #1000ActsOfKindness program and Volunteers24, which allows all staff three days’ paid leave annually for volunteer work. Our aim is to support organisations in kind (time and helping in person), hence we unfortunately do not make any cash donations.

Media24 as a corporate does not provide sponsorships for events or projects outside the scope of our existing social impact initiatives mentioned above, and neither do we as a corporate enter into media partnership agreements on behalf of our brands.

Send requests for back copies of magazines for charity events and fundraisers to at the Lifestyle division. Please note that the bulk of our magazine portfolio is now published two monthly and no longer monthly. As a result, there are only small quantities of unsold / back copies of magazines available for donations. Requests are processed on a first come first served basis and are highly dependent on availability and the nature of your event/project.
